PRESS RELEASE

We are delighted to announce the results of the 11th International Web Concert Hall Competition held in the United States from January to late March 2010. The competition was opened to all nationalities without restrictions in their ages for all orchestral instrumentalists and chamber ensembles. 49 applications were submitted in 2010. Participants are from Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Russia, South Korea, Italy,Poland, and USA. The competition was articulated in three rounds: the 1st (eliminatory), the 2nd (semi-final) and the 3rd (final). In February, 15 semi-finalists were selected, then, 8 finalists were selected in early March. The 2010 International Web Concert Hall competition concluded with the selection of one winner and honorary mention recipients

Gwhyneth won the first prize of Ivo Pogorelich International Piano Competition in 1994 and was a laureate in both 1990 Tchaikovsky International Piano competition and 1992 The Prokofiev International Piano Competition. In 1999 she was the winner of 1st Web Concert Hall competition
