Grand Prize: Ms. Gwhyneth Chen (Piano) - USA

Winner: Mr. Siqing Lu (Violin) - China

He has performed in more than thirty countries throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Lu has made more than dozen CD and video recordings and has been broadcast over 30 TV and radio stations throughout China and other parts of the world. Ms. Mead had appeared as a solo pianist since the age of 11, where she played on ABC television. Having always been lauded as a pianist of interpretive and not just technical ability, Vaila Mead has enjoyed particular success as an interpreter of Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin.
